runnerup by Kryo

runnerup downloads track and waypoint information from the GlobalSat GH-601 wrist-type GPS.

Version 0.2 can be downloaded here. It connects to the GPS and prints all waypoints and recorded tracks in one GPX document to the standard output.

It is built in Python and should work on any os supported by pyserial. It is tested on Linux and Windows XP with Python 2.5 and 2.6.

runnerup is covered by the GPL2 license.
